Wind It Up (Commentary)

Ok, so "Wind It Up" is the craziest video and song situation that happened the entire first season of "Todrick"—which is still weird for me to say. I got to surprise Vonzell in the episode and let her know that she was gonna be singing the song with me; she had no idea. So, I went into the studio and immediately I started coming up with this concept of these dolls that had fallen in the real world and had been killed and have, like, now been resurrected as toys, which was a really weird, creepy thought, but I was like, "I think I'm onto something." This song had an emotional connection for Vonzell and I and I'm so glad I got to sing this duet with somebody who's one of my best friends and one of the most talented vocalists I know. I love this song so much and I'm so glad that you guys got to hear it.
