Writer's Block

[Verse: Telly] I don't know, it's been about two years, as a matter of fact I got writer's block I got no subjects, no concepts, I just lost all my inspiration I'm in amazement, it's like my brain took a vacation Remember them days when I'd write them songs on my iPod? Every punchline, simile, metaphor, would make you say, "My God" Jovell writes every day, he's on his third mix tape How can I sit straight? Time will pass me by if I just wait I used to upload a video every week of me freestyling And I'm really good, but that does not show my true talent When I freestyle, I'm deadly, but my pen game is immortal I don't believe in ghostwriting, but the pen is paranormal Spooky, how could I lose my inspiration? And that's why I took that damn hiatus But I'm back now, and I will never stop Let's just hope and pray that I don't get writer's block [Hook x2] My writing is the tightest, it's golden like Midas I be writing up a storm til I got arthritis I promise to give you everything I got But a writer's worst enemy: writer's block [Verse: 2] Got some concepts together for the second mix tape I was gonna write the whole thing during winter break That's a whole month, that's more time than I need Finish in no time, I'm talking mach speed I was finally in the zone, everything was great Until my girl called me and told me we need to separate "I respect your decision" I replied quite naturally She needed space, so I needed a galaxy You see, momma didn't raise a bitter man But that interfered with bigger plans I don't cry over women, I'm not Drake that's not my thing I hope my ex excels like the fucking magazine But back to the business, relentless when I be writing I just hope my ideas don't clash like the titans Writer's block or not, I won't stop, you'll never see Cuz it'll never happen again, I promise Sincerely, Telly
