Yeah, check it out one time Yeah, uh [Verse 1: Pez] I see it everywhere, our energy sends Deep and we seek means to make the chemistry blend, when I get to thinking and I scribble a page Live and engage with it in this ignorant age, flayed With all these people who seem to believe even just Speaking will free demons means your picture will fade away How can we say and know what we will get to That's why inside I look to poetry for rescue (yeah) To help me step through all the good days and bad days I put hate aside, and hope it lets me rise To a height that engages life from under- -neath and then raises up to release It's like a short in the force to the courier's strength You feel revived, uh, you feel alive Uh, it's hard to say, but the way that I feel inside Uh (it doesn't matter), it changes every day anyway I know I'm meant to say something different But what's the difference (yeah) [Hook: Rayms] As I gaze, I'm amazed, I relate (It's poetry) turn the page, and I relate to [Verse 2: Pez] I lay my drink down, sit and contemplate The sound that surrounds, and how I think it's lost its shape Within a phase that portrays shape to real life Crazy games played aimed to make me realise In ways even change stays remaining the same Clouded by the feelings that my neighbourhood say as I Try to put my foot forth and look beyond all the Strong parts we severed the contrast is evident But what path we headed, a dim hope to change it is Mode condition straight, I walk a different way Than the rest who congress determine with stop It stops a term I forgot a long time ago [Hook: Rayms] [Verse 3: Pez] Every single line I put on the page Is when I'm drained from all the constant fights With what I want from life.
