you were, dancing embers
mended by rising flames with Water.
today you were scalded,
gathered oil to fume
added hate in your soul.
“just flare no fire.”
your visceral pain:
combusted.
the neurotransmitters
in your brain disjointed,
the sentences you spoke were
jumbled and drifting—
"just flare no fire.“
scalding the scorchers ignites old ash.
the flux of so-called
your combustion
eternalized the flame by night.
by next light,
end the drought.
