I have been hiding in the shadows a little too long Somebody came into the woods and pulled me out with they prongs Somebody forced the melody of a stupid song Inside my head, until the day the earth is gone But until that day comes, I’ll have to avoid the traps I’ll be paranoid of that/which is the noise of phat I’ll be the boy of the poster/In which destroys the notion That its okay to blaze the maryjane that employs commotion In which obliterates the beautiful view that is the ocean That commandeers the probs of peers and toys with emotion You want it here? No problem dear/I know that its gross man In the lake of hell is the place you fell just because you dipped your toes in [Hook] All systems go, the sun hasn't died Deep in my bones, straight from inside [Verse II] So I came home/rose from the lake/back in the shadows Everybody there looked at me different/reacted a hassle No acceptance just the difference that ruffled the tastles But nobody talked/I simply walked/march back to my castle In my mind I tackled the consequence of what happened There were burns on the arms which turn came from the lake in which I sat in And I guess that the people of the land of the shadows didn’t patent The engagements that I made to graze and blaze that I practiced It became a nuisance/I became so stupid So I took the bruising/And created a blueprint To get my life on track/My time was gone and back Underwent a modification/Coming back in a Pontiac Asking how hard is that?
