[Verse 1] Two whole years after the Fucking Big War We thought we were doomed, never would expect more Than just a crisis For Christ's sake How could all this mess be recovered? But we actually did it Extreme makeover What we could do, we did it Fixed some destroyed stuff Etc, but of course, that wasn't enough To make the country look - and be - as it was But we were happy nonetheless because We did a lot in just two years We were starting to lose our fears That the country could never be rebuilt And between all that, I remembered having killed Lots of people It wasn't something simple Faces of those I killed came to me at night Almost no sleeping thanks to this damn fight That guy I blew up when he was coming for me That missile that hit that other guy before he could see It was bad man Fuck it, it was bad It still is, but back then Holy crap, how could I deal with it man I saw ghosts all around So imagine what it was getting home one day, 1980 I went to my room and found A message on the phone from army intel saying nuclear treats from Kiribati "What the fuck", I thought That's not possible That island is so Fucking small, it can not Have nuclear shit Intel must have got it Wrong It won't be long Until they realize it But in fact they were right And that very night We attacked Kiribati's military base Making it impossible for them to attack us with nuclear weapons It was something "just in case" But it was the sad truth Our pilots said they saw The nukes being prepared So what could we do? Not just stare Shocking the people, war was declared [Verse 2] This time we wanted to act fast End it before it could last Long and make our situation worse Our plan was to invade, defeat Since we had far more people They wouldn't stand a chance But where was our army? What men did we have? It wasn't only me People didn't want to fight again South was very angry Cause everybody was blaming them And most of their people were dead We had to make it voluntary for them And then we went through the country Very quickly, house to house Asking people to fight for it Saying we needed them to save it In a week or so we got an army, little And we learned Kiribati was starting to fiddle With their nuke again Preparing to launch it on us when We couldn't do nothing about it So it was time to act, now, shout it "Troops, assemble! We're invading" And so we went with our few men and made it Got to their territory Began to fight That's another sad story Cause I can't say I might Have killed a lot I'm pretty sure I've done it, there was not Any other way to get out of there alive Or to get out of there with tortoises intact They wanted to bomb part of our country [Ah! That man I stabbed with a knife] To make it unpopulated [Damn it! They fight with so much hatred] And then claim it for them, expand [First shoot him on the feet and...] That's what got them determined [Our base was firm] But we too had what to fight for [We had to turn the tables, win the war] It was our home, the place we all loved [They were almost matching our number of men] The republic for tortoises Holy crap, I know that noise, it's... Bombs coming Wait? Why aren't my men running?? God damnit, it's our forces! It's like we gained suddenly a lot more horses If we were at old times If tortoises could ride horses And I could make good rhymes, don't force it But our bombs came in handy We were back in advantage More of our people were landing To help, and we won battles Then we heard there was something in Seattle Kiribatians concentrated, planning or something We sent a battalion there, first thing [Verse 3] Yeah, we kept drawing them back Into their own country We thought we'd already won that War, but suddenly People from Seattle said the nuke was there They were planning to use it, we were distracted So I got my men and went there We couldn't let it happen And in Kiribati we would win anyway There I was, party in the USA, nay Had to stop that bomb from being sent So to the facilities I went Killing everyone on my way With a rage unusual for Cla-Clay Got to the launch room They were about to push the button, that was doom I wouldn't be able to stop 'em So what I did? Hopped on The bomb and flew with it Had to deactivate it Red wire, green wire, I was going haywire Like my dad Remembered my dad Had to step out of Shanapol Directly to mental House during the war He couldn't take this things anymore Was going crazy I couldn't even see him He didn't want his son fighting I had to end this wars for him I found the wire I thought was right Took it out, and nothing Took another nothing On the third, desperate try The bomb's fire started to die And we started to fall To the ocean, and if it all Failed, if it explodes anyway At least it takes the sea and Cla-Clay Rather than the country And we approached the water I was ready for it I did what I had to do Dived right in and then VROOOM I woke up thinking am I in heaven? 'Till I saw the Shanapol logo in front of me They had got me just in time, they told me The bomb did blow up later in the sea That place we were, Atol Bikini Was regarded as a test by international community But we knew the rest of this story We won the war We had to fight no more We could go on rebuild the country Regain our position in the economy Be happy and calm once again That is, for those that didn't kill men Cause I said it, and I repeat, it's very bad The images can't get in any way out of your head Every face, highly detailed on your memory To haunt you anytime, anyplace, I'm sorry For the men I led to this war I made you suffer more Than you'd ever deserve Only thing good for me Was the recovery Both of the country and my dad's I got to finally see him he was glad There was peace after all That no more people would call Me to say I had a mission I retired from the army Helped the country to be great again Finally could enjoy peace
