The Theme See, there's a few things that'll never change I'll never tell a lie, never sell my soul for fame Never get lost in this game, never forget the humble beginnings from which I came Never switch up, but understand I will change Understand the difference, never confuse me with lames Matter of fact, never compare me, cause I'm different clearly Never going backwards, unless I'm reminiscing At the dinner table with my people, few bottles of Pinot Always listen to advice, sometimes let it direct me Always keep my language blunt, never speak indirectly Never take it personal when somebody rejects me That's how I know they don't know me; if they did, they'd respect me Never let a single person outwork me If that means I never sleep, let it be I would rather never dream cause I'm awake living them out Then to be asleep while I'm awake, complaining in the house Never doubt...the wise words that the OG told me If it isn't on your "list" then it's probably bullshit So if you say you 'want it," but you don't go for it Either you're a fraud or it probably wasn't that important That's why I never, ever cared About somebody's judgement of what I'm doing over here And for that very same reason I welcome you to PMF Season
